You can do the same with a personal check. They all have to be processed by a human anyway.
If your bank is nearby, you could place it in their night drop box, too.

Just make sure you endorse it, write your account number under your endorsement signature, and write “For Deposit Only” under your account number.

July 16th, 2009 at 1:19 amyou can deposit it, but do you trust a machine over a person, that issues a receipt. teller everytime for me.
July 23rd, 2009 at 7:49 pmYes, but everyone failed to mention that most banks will put a hold on the funds for a longer period of time than if you went inside. So if you expect the funds to be available immediately they won’t be.
July 25th, 2009 at 10:22 pmIf you own the account and the check is written out to you then you can deposit it in the machine. Make sure you sign the back of the check
