You can deposit it as long as it is your bank.

You can do the same with a personal check. They all have to be processed by a human anyway.

If your bank is nearby, you could place it in their night drop box, too.

This would depend on the specific financial institution. Each “bank” can set its own policies.

Yes you can. Get one of their envelopes sign the cheek and put your account number on it and seal it and and put it in the slot.

Yes you can, but never any coins, or you get a nasty letter from the bank.

Of course; just make sure you endorse it (sign it on the reverse) and add your account number.

Yes, you can deposit it in the ATM.

Just make sure you endorse it, write your account number under your endorsement signature, and write “For Deposit Only” under your account number.

Yes, but everyone failed to mention that most banks will put a hold on the funds for a longer period of time than if you went inside. So if you expect the funds to be available immediately they won’t be.

If you own the account and the check is written out to you then you can deposit it in the machine. Make sure you sign the back of the check :)
