Personalised Checks

I rarely use personal checks. But I do need some on hand from time to time. Even though it would be fairly simple to just order a bunch through my bank, I started to wonder if it was possible (and legal) to design and print checks at home.

I am selling a drum set locally and I don’t really want to accept a personal check, is it rude for me to refuse to do so?

How do money grams and personal checks work.Whats the process after cashing it at the bank.I’m talkin bout money grams/money orders.

Am looking to order some checks that I can write my own message/text above the signature line… I’ve ordered them before but cannot seem to find the same company online again.

Does anyone know who does this?

I move around a lot and I hate to order checks with an address on it and then I end up moving again and having to change my address again and order more checks. Please advise
